Eomgung Cherry Blossoms — A Spring Walk Along the Nakdong River

Main

  • If you are looking for a quiet cherry blossom trail in Busan, this place is a decent choice.
  • There aren’t many other spots within walking distance, so it’s best as a quick stopover during the season.
  • The cherry blossoms at night are beautiful, but consider them a privilege for the locals.

A Step: Perspective

Only 40 Springs Left.

I’ve always loved seasonal food. I try never to let a season pass without tasting its essence at least once. I often joke with my friends,
"We only have about 40 more chances to experience this. We’re turning forty soon."

But walking under the cherry blossoms at night with my wife today, the same thought struck me. Watching the petals flutter like snow under the dim streetlights, I realized our chances to witness this beauty together are also limited—perhaps only 40 more times.

Time flows faster than we think. So today, borrowing a famous movie title,
I tell myself: Eat, Love, Pray.
For the precious people and the moments we each hold deep in our hearts.

Local Tips

  • The climb is quite steep. However, a flat 1km stretch awaits you at the top.
  • Take Bus 16 to the final stop to skip the steep climb, then walk back along the bus route.
  • It's a great stopover before heading to Dadaepo for the sunset, or for catching night blossoms after visiting Eulsukdo.
